For those of you who know me, I don’t typically hold big themed mini session events – it’s not really my thing. I love longer sessions so I can mix lifestyle in with portrait work, meet clients at their homes and really get to know them. I do, however, offer minis to families who I have had the honor of working with for a full session in the same calendar year…I feel like it’s a good perk to be able to come back to me several times through out the year without having to do full sessions every single time and my clients totally deserve that option after investing in me with a full session. I have really gotten to enjoy these sessions. It helps that I get to see these awesome families that I LOVE and have grown attached to sooner than waiting until their next full session. The bulk of my schedule is booked with full sessions but I am more than happy to offer these to show appreciation to all of those loyal returning clients I appreciate SO much. I don’t advertise these sessions but I am more than happy to offer them once a year between full sessions to those who inquire. I am so behind on blogging and never had a chance to post these I took a couple of weekends ago. I am crazy about all of these families and had so much fun shooting their mini sessions. laura + art…where do i begin? i love you both apart and even more together! you guys are two peas in a pod and i am so excited you found each other. when i look at you two together it’s apparent how natural you mesh and how meant to be it is…you’re going to be this unstoppable team as you go through life – haha…now i am just getting dorky! i mean it though. so happy for you guys. and sooo lucky you chose me to be your photographer!
little elvie – you are so LOVED! i saw your dad’s excitement the second he opened the garage and told me to come on in…BEAMING! your mom…BEAMING! your grandmother…BEAMING! you are gorgeous and so loved. you’re a lucky lady to be born into the family you have – they’re pretty much awesome! but i know you can already tell 🙂 and they are feeling really lucky themselves.

Every time I take this family’s pictures I have fun and every time I sit down to edit I feel like I hear laughter coming right out of the computer! They’re so full of energy and life and love…so fun to be a part of! I am so thankful for you coming back over and over from Jackson’s newborn session until now – THANK YOU! I appreciate you both Susannah and Patrick!

Kelly, I don’t know how you do it! Every time I’m worried about forgetting balloons, not looking quite right and not having enough props for pictures it doesn’t even matter because your pictures always come out amazing and so much more than I could ever have expected!! Thank you thank you thank you!! You are seriously THE BEST! Oh and PS all my family in dallas is totally jealous! They wish you worked there too 🙂
