a day in the life of himma. houston baby + family photographer


daylight savings time put a kink in our day but a little sleepiness & schedule change didn’t stop miss himma from being a champ! i loved this session bc it was literally like a day in the life of…
everything from going to the park down the street to waking himma up from her nap…to making a yummy breakfast…
we basically just tried to be as authentic & real as we could without forcing things that weren’t natural to them…(except for when i made them them sit in front of the green garage door on a blanket 😉
barrett & briana – you guys are beautiful people with a gorgeous family…thank you for letting me into your life for the day!

happy. houston baby’s first year photographer

i love when clients turn into true friends. i started photographing this family almost 2 years ago. since then we have become friends & our kids have become friends. we’ve hung out, shared personal stories & been there for each other. i love having you as a friend, emma! i have become quite attached to flynn & ava so i am sad that the baby’s first year plan ava was on is all over, but i know this isn’t the end of seeing this family!
editing these pictures made me smile…all that LOVE! flynn is so much like garrett..silly, energetic. he has a beautiful heart & a gorgeous smile. ava is sooo loved by that big brother of hers! do you blame him though? she is a little angel.
i will miss getting to take your pictures every few months! i heart you guys!
