this session is special to me as all of them are for different reasons though! this is my brother (don’t we look alike?), sister in law & their kids: ben & braden. my garrett is sprinkled in there randomly. this session was planned long ago for my sweet, sweet dad’s birthday. the disc & 3 stand outs will be his gift tomorrow. i can’t WAIT to give it to him. but sshh, don’t tell! i am really bad at keeping secrets related to gifts that i’m excited about & i have been pretty much busting at the seam, he loves pictures & picture taking as much as me so he will love having the pictures. my mom is obsessed with stand outs so i know she will be excited, too….and i know my dad will really appreciate the fact that scott & stacy (who hate etting their picture taken) got the whole family all dressed & out the door to do this. well….just had to share because i love these people so much! and a big shout out to my dad who happens to have a pretty huge, monumental birthday tomorrow (he is turning 40 😉 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! you’d think i could just wait to share this until after his bday, right? i had made it so far keeping this secret operation on the DL but i have reached my maximum amount of self control!
OUTTAKES:
these boys have so much fun when they are together….maybe too much! ben was making noises with his mouth & ben & braden would LAAUUGH…they are only 4 days apart (3 years old) & ben is 6. they worship ben.
this was a long time ago that we took these. it was one of my very first sessions using kelvin white balance thanks to sarah wilkerson’s tutorials on clickinmoms. now i am obsessed & would have it no other way than kelvin!
sara - gorgeous kelly! love the lighting! i’ll have to try out that kelvin method sometime 🙂
Lisa (Tout Petit Pixel) - Fantastic!!!! I have a HUGE smile on my face after watching this 🙂
Cindy - Beautiful family. Happy B-day to your Dad!
Leah Cook - oh these are AWESOME, Kelly!!
